LIVING WATER

Did you know that all filtered water is not created equal?  Some kinds can enhance our good health and other kinds may be detrimental.  Some is very much alive in nature, but other kinds may be dead or lacking in energy.  The Savior used Living Water as a metaphor for Himself,  which was understood by a population that lived near the Dead Sea.

Distilled water, for example, is very clean but also very dead.  Other methods like Reverse Osmosis similarly purify the water, but don't necessarily restore the quality needed for good absorption and benefit.  For good health, we all need to drink water that has contaminants removed, as well as chlorine which is useful to purify water, but not beneficial to our bodies.

So how can we restore quality to our filtered water, making it acceptable on a cellular level?  My chosen method is a Nikken water filter which remineralizes the water.  Having a problem in the past with absorbing food and water, I have found that this works for me.  I have read that adding Himalayan sea salt is helpful to liven up water.  There are also mineral drops available.

Note that you must use potable water with a Nikken water filter.  I unknowingly put contaminated water into my Nikken filter when we moved into our new home.  Within 2 weeks it was ruined and we discovered we had a problem.  The water coming out of our tap was not clean, much to our surprise.  In a time of disaster, the Nikken filter would not be a suitable solution for purifying water that was contaminated.  However, the Nikken filter works well to filter out chlorine and other contaminants in our drinking water as well as remineralize it.

Be aware also that water softened water is not healthy to drink.  We have a water softener for our home but installed a cold water tap separately for drinking water.  Our area has really hard water which is better for drinking water, but so heavy with minerals that it is less absorbable.

There is not much chlorine added to our drinking water in the city where I live, but as fast as it is  growing, it will require more and more chlorine to keep our tap water clean.  Most of my loved ones don't live here.  Many of them live in places where the water is not so good.  It tastes terrible and is discolored as well as being highly chlorinated.  I am grateful that they use frig filters and other filters to clean it up.  Adding minerals is a healthy option for them.
