LIVING WATER Did you know that all filtered water is not created equal?  Some kinds can enhance our good health and other kinds may be detrimental.  Some is very much alive in nature, but other kinds may be dead or lacking in energy.  The Savior used Living Water as a metaphor for Himself,  which was understood by a population that lived near the Dead Sea. Distilled water, for example, is very clean but also very dead.  Other methods like Reverse Osmosis similarly purify the water, but don't necessarily restore the quality needed for good absorption and benefit.  For good health, we all need to drink water that has contaminants removed, as well as chlorine which is useful to purify water, but not beneficial to our bodies.  So how can we restore quality to our filtered water, making it acceptable on a cellular level?  My chosen method is a Nikken water filter which remineralizes the water.  Having a problem in the past with absorbing foo...

GET SMART! EXERCISE!

In a study done at Naperville Central High School, students who participated in a dynamic morning exercise program nearly doubled their reading scores, while math scores increased 20 fold.  A review of 14 other studies shows that the more physically active school children are, the better they do academically. Exercise encourages your brain to work at optimum capacity by causing nerve cells to multiply, strengthening their interconnections, and protecting them from damage.  This is true for all age groups.  Not only does movement equal better cognition, but is critical to every brain function.  Regular exercise results in better mental health.  Only 26 minutes of movement a day showed observable benefits to teens with ADHD.  The Surgeon General recommends that children and adolescents have 60 minutes or more of physical activity daily.  Most of that time should be doing aerobic exercise, but also should include strength training and bone strengthe...
